Retreat Theme: Holy Wholeness: Following the Way of Jesus
Join Rev. Kerry Greenhill to explore the ways that Jesus embodies and offers others an experience of Holy Wholeness in the gospels. We will consider wholeness as healing, integration, inclusiveness, and completeness, both in the Bible and in our own lives. You are invited to take a time apart from ministry to connect with God and with each other in life-giving ways.
Rev. Kerry Greenhill is an ordained United Methodist Deacon, currently serving as Minister of Discipleship and Community Engagement at First UMC, Hampton. She has a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology, and recently moved back to Virginia from Colorado. She spent five years in ministry consulting with Sacred Stones Ministries, a non-profit group she helped found, and 14 years’ experience in local church ministry, with a focus on worship, adult spiritual formation, and mission/outreach. She has also served in a variety of non-profit administration and communication roles, and is fluent in Spanish. Kerry has a passion for illuminating God's shalom - the in-breaking reign of justice, peace, beauty, joy, and wholeness - through words, worship, relationships, and service. She lives with her husband, two children, and two cats in Hampton, Virginia.
